Foscagno Pass
Open all year, 24 hours per day, please note that snow tyres or chains are required to be carried in your car from 15 October to 30 April
Forcola Pass
Open only in summer, usually from mid-June to the end of October. Closed in winter .
The weather conditions heavily influence when the Forcola pass is open, making this route has more of a risk during bad weather. We therefore ask our guests, to avoid unpleasant setbacks that can lengthen the journey to Livigno, to check the latest updates before travel
Munt La Schera Tunnel
Open all year round with alternating one-way traffic , in some periods subject to night closure .
Furthermore, in the winter season , traffic restrictions are observed on Saturdays , e.g.:

05.00 to 0900 - Transit permitted from Livigno to Switzerland

10.00 to 11.00 - Time reserved for the change of direction

11.00 to 18.00 - Transit permitted from Switzerland to Livigno

1900 to 0500 - Open one-way alternating
We advise all guests to check before travel for any updates regarding the tunnel times
See below the tecnical data for the Munt La Schera Tunnel:
- open all year round 24 hours,
- there is a fee and it is alternating one-way. It has a length of 3.5 km, a height of 3.6 m and a width of 2.5 m.

A valid document for travel abroad is mandatory (identity card or passport)

There is an obligation to transit with chains on board from 15 October to 30 April.

It is forbidden to cross the tunnel by bicycle, the Bike Shuttle will take care of it departing from Punt dal Gall or La Drossa.
Vereina Tunnel
The Rhaetian Railway takes you, together with your car through the Vereina tunnel. The duration of the journey is 18 minutes - every day every 30 minutes.
