Airport Information
Sometimes when you have a long wait at the airport it makes the day long so here are a few things to help
Milan Bergamo
- You can go to one of Italy's biggest indoor shopping centre which is just 200 metres from the airport and you can walk there directly from the terminal using the underpass
- You can store your luggage for just 5€ per bag - go out of arrival door number 3 and in the car park you will see the following office.
The opening hours are from 1000 to 2000.
3. In between the check in area and entrance to the security check, you will find a small V.I.P lounge that costs 23€ for up to 3 hours and you can have unlimited drinks and snacks as well as the use of toilets plus you can charge your mobile devices in comfort. They will also check in your bags as well takling the need to join the check in queue
4. If you arrive at the airport and you are in a hurry and the security queue is large, you can also go to the V.I.P area and pay 10€ to skip the queue.
5. There are also sleeping pods available during the day time up to 1900 and you can pay 9€ per hour. If you want to stay overnight then you must make a booking online
Milan Malpensa
There are two terminals at Malpensa airport - Terminals 1 and 2. If you have booked a shuttle transfer then these always drop off and pick up from Exit 7 in Terminal 1. To get from terminal 2 to terminal 1 is very easy as there is a shuttle bus approx every 15 minutes.
To get to the bus stop, when you come out of the baggage hall. turn left and exit the terminal building next to the pharmacy, then go across the zebra crossing and you will see the bus stop to take you to terminal 1 - the bus is free of charge and takes 5 minutes to get between the terminals.
If you need to get to the train station this is situated 100 metres from the bus stop.
If you are looking for an airport hotel, there is the Moxy Hotel in terminal 2 which is just 100 metres from the bus stop and terminal.
